Understanding three key components to social-emotional learning—identity, perfectionism, and resilience—help us as we guide gifted learners.  Experiencing the world intensely and leaning toward perfectionism, gifted kids sometimes struggle accepting their own neurological diversity.  Having begun each year of elementary school already knowing up to 70% of the curriculum, our gifted kids also miss opportunities to learn resilience.  Riding high upon this wave of wonderfulness, what happens when a student falls off that wave?  From running to flying . . . we explore how our gifted kids might learn how to thrive.  Participants will receive a folder link to digital units they can implement tomorrow!
