Gifted students have special accommodations and needs that are not always met in the classroom. Using the Individualized Education Plan or I.E.P. often implemented for special education needs can be further employed to meet the unique accommodations and needs of gifted students. In this presentation attendees will learn how to craft and co create these plans with their students to help increase students advocacy and foster a better teacher-student relationship by making clear goals and accommodations for our gifted students using the I.E.P. process. Learning to create each gifted student’s  varied set of educational needs to be crafted in this format to increase personalized learning and accelerate learning in the classroom. Thus we will be able to better match their learning. This process will help to improve student outcomes and improve our ability to better understand how best to foster their growth as students.
