This session invites educators to reimagine boredom not as a detriment but as a springboard for creativity and critical thinking. By embracing intentional wandering, educators can transform disengagement into opportunities for passion-driven learning. Participants will explore how passion projects and self-directed inquiry foster intrinsic motivation, problem-solving, and innovation. Together, we will consider two key questions: How can boredom lead to intentional wandering? and How can we intentionally build time for wandering? Through strategies, case studies, and interactive dialogue, attendees will learn how to weave intentional wandering into classroom practice while maintaining academic rigor.
