In this session you will learn how to incorporate fine arts into your core curriculum to create lessons that have meaningful impact, deeper learning, to better engage your gifted students. Using researched back methods you will learn how to use the arts to improve learning for long term retention. Arts integration has meaningful results on student engagement because it’s fun and has authentic learning experiences for students. Arts integration also helps students to use this type of learning to bolster self concept, and improve social emotional regulation. As a fine arts and gifted teacher I have seen first hand how important the arts are to create well rounded, inspired, and well engaged students. Come celebrate art as a vehicle for learning.
