Teaching in today’s educational, social, and political climate is increasingly challenging. It is in these times that teachers are the most needed, yet little focus is being given to the mental, physical, and emotional health of educators of gifted learners. Educator wellness is not a one-time event or singular conversation—it is an ongoing practice of self-reflection, supported by routines that foster continuous growth and resilience. This session explores research-based wellness strategies that have been specifically tailored for teachers of gifted learners. Participants will examine self-care practices, reflect on their current routines in a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborate to develop actionable strategies they can implement immediately in their classrooms. The session aims to cultivate a supportive community where educators can reconnect with their love of teaching, their passion for gifted education, and a sustainable sense of personal and professional well-being.
