Faye Uttech, Instructional Coach for Gifted Education
Faye has been in education for nineteen years. She taught 3rd - 7th grade, gifted cluster classrooms, middle school ELA, and computers. Faye currently works as an Instructional Coach for Gifted Education in the Laveen Elementary School District. She splits her time at three different K-8 schools, working with students and supporting teachers through coaching and professional development. She is also the proud parent of two hockey-playing gifted boys in 5th and 8th grade.

Kate Garis, Instructional Coach for Gifted Education
Kate has 24 years of experience working with students from diverse populations, including ELL, gifted, acceleration, twice-exceptional, and students living in poverty. Kate currently works as an Instructional Coach for Gifted Education in the Laveen Elementary School District. She routinely facilitates professional development opportunities focusing on meeting the needs of gifted and high-ability learners. She is also the proud mother of two gifted children who are currently in 11th grade and freshman in college.
