Dr. Sam Eddis

Sam Eddis, PhD, founder of Eddis Tutorial Services, LLC and an independent researcher, is an experienced, multiple-subject teacher and tutor, who has been researching her practice since 1999. As a gifted education practitioner, Sam’s experience with gifted learners included home educating her four children from kindergarten through to university, as well as working with profoundly gifted learners at Gary K Herberger Young Scholars Academy. Though she has now left the school, she is excited to bring two inquiry-based projects to the school, in her capacity as a 2025-2026 Xplorlabs Educator Fellow. Creating and actualizing passion projects, in various disguises, is one of the ways Sam balances individualised learning with her own lifelong love of education.
